  A truly inspirational medical story captured beautifully in this film. People deserve to know the excellent work Dr. Blalock and Dr. Thomas contributed to the medical sciences. Despite all odds, racial and occupational, Vivian Thomas conquered his challenges. This story is a wonderful example to show that you don’t need a title to do great things in life.

  Alan Rickman will forever be my favorite actor and seeing him play such a delicately complex role in an intellectual way has been a gift. 

  I cried about 4 times throughout the movie because I’m a mess.
