This is by far the most blatant propaganda piece I’ve ever watched, and it’s not even to an enjoyable degree. Bearing in mind the election that occurred soon after this movie came out, this may have been the most braindead political piece ever devised in the history of modern cinema. I'm not exactly sure how I can describe this film. It's trippy, it's ridiculous, it's funny, it's uh..... oddly horny..... oh, and Hitler's there.
Watching this with some friends completely blind makes for a hilarious experience, but beyond that, the only quality I can give it credit for is being experimental and trying new things, such as rotoscoping war scenes from existing films when they didn't have the budget to animate crowds of soldiers going to battle, which I found pretty damn interesting.
