New year, new me. I swear I’m gonna make a dent on my watchlist this year.
PTA can do no wrong. truly mesmerizing and hypnotic performances from DDL, Krieps, and Manville. The score is amazingly done and the costumes are beautiful to look at.
Wonderful way to start 2025.
This was a complete surprise. Took a big swing creatively as a musical biopic and it worked for the most part, unfortunately no one is seeing this. If you read this, go watch it.
Definitely continues Bong Joon Ho’s trend of his interest in social commentary. I can see why he wanted to take a stab at adapting the source material. It’s weird, funny and in your face at all times. Robert Pattinson gives a slap-sticky, insane performance(s), Mark Ruffulo’s teeth are distracting and Toni Collette’s obsession with sauces is hilarious. All I have to say for now is I want more and I need more.
