I was ready to avoid watching musicals for a GOOD WHILE after watching Hamilton for the first time recently. However, I found myself with some time to kill and went to the movies. I’ll be honest, I had to convince myself not to turn it off 3 separate times during the first 20 minutes because at first I found it quite corny and a little hard to swallow.
