Just watched it and I dunno, I feel like it was an interesting story and approach to it but it’s not inventing/trying anything new.
Everything looked so beautiful, but the dialogues felt so artificial except in few moments. Difficult to connect with the character when you feel like you aren’t seeing a real person most of the times, but instead a render of what people expected famous artists to be like in the past century with not much human behind.…

What a shame. Watched the movie after finding an enthusiastic review on YouTube, and despite liking the premise, characters and plot, I can’t help but feel like I have been cheated by the movie.
In 2hrs 40min of film they covered only half the story of the book/musical, and the promotional material defo avoids mentioning that the movie is only part 1.
In a sense, this would be fine if there was added value, but most of the runtime feels…Translated from by

Out of Darkness 2022
Amazing movie with an original story, interesting themes and unexpected twists. It maybe drags a little in the middle, but it's 100% worth a watch. Loved the characters and their relationship.
