As a film, this was ok. But as a visual representation of Kristen Roupenian's viral short story, it fell short in so many ways. That article explored the topic of modern dating in a way that was both singular in its narrative & details, yet universal, touching on the experiences many women have had. Texting endlessly, and inevitably falling for an idealised version of someone. Convincing yourself they may still be that person, as they slowly reveal themselves to be different…
