  Quite messy and confusing, this allegory of love and death pays tribute to all previous Python films. Perhaps most surrealist of them all, if you try to find any meaning behind it, it will certainly let you down.

  I have, at the same time, both no words and too many words to describe this movie. It has to be a kind of thought-provoking, deep metaphoric movie, but sadly did not get it much. What makes Lanthimos a great director is the freedom he uses, and unconventional, non-formulaic (and far from it!), non-Hollywoodian way of expressing as an artist that does not care about if it will be a liked movie or not, but the way he expresses himself.

Following
