  Love Hurts is like John Wick if you ordered it from Temu—cheap, a little off, but technically functional. Ariana DeBose, girl, why so bland? On the bright side, it was 90 minutes (respect), some fights slapped, and it had a few laughs. Also, Ke Huy Quan deserves all the best, everything, always, everywhere, at once.

  Liked the concept, suffered through the love story. That dance scene - a war crime against Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Who the hell backpacked a yellow vinyl of Cool It Down into the Gorge? Also, why do monsters always growl similarly? I want one to squeak like a rubber duck in some movie.
