  this being my introduction to b&w films was not disappointing in the slightest. it is not a dealbreaker for me that this lies more accurate to akutagawa ryuunosukes' "in a grove" than "rashomon"- just something i noticed. 

  very hopeful and excited to watch more of akira kurosawas work

  jason mamoa and oscar isaac have me gagged but not quite in the way id like, but in all seriousness these leads DELIVERED in a way I didn't entirely expect from timothee chalamet (rebecca ferguson can do no wrong imo). im omw to watch david lynch dune after the sequel
