  A roughly two hour Mattel advertisement that made me feel comfort over the human condition. There were so many points throughout the film where I was near moved to tears, knowing this I can see why Greta Gerwig kept the meat of the film under wraps, in doing this, it enhanced the whiplash of the viewing. 

  Saying that, when femininity is viewed as vapid and frivolous the whiplash that comes with the film being very humanising is just a given. …
