  hi barbie!
  i cried a little. love the styling, sets, cast, it was all so fun. it wasn’t the radical feminist movie critics made it out to be BUT, i don’t think it had to be radical to a) make people so angry (which just proves its point) or b) have the heartwarming effect it did on general audiences. mainstream feminism is still, surprisingly, really hard for a lot of people to get behind and barbie was the perfect vehicle…
