  script could have used a little polishing but: i liked it! some plot threads felt a little frayed but i think the core of the story works, the stylistic gambit absolutely works, and the ending goes from masterful to overwrought and back again in like... five minutes? love the relationship between the dad and daughter, chris sullivan doing amazing work here.

  the best possible version of an old-fashioned airport-novel adaptation programmer. really sharp writing, excellent performances all around, it looked great, stylish in a way that helped keep things exciting but wasn't obtrusive. love those turtles.
