  Ham fisted, but I’m not mad at it. 

  
  We started seeing a lot of Brenden Fraser again after the release of the Whale. Something seemed off about him in those awards speeches and public appearances. Then I saw the movie and realized he’s stuck in character.

  There is no way New York Times called EO “number one movie”, also that award sounds made up.

  Takeaways:

  -It should have been animated. As a live action it was at best uncomfortable and at worst cruel. The message of respecting/not abusing wild animals is lost in the irony of how they probably lowkey tortured these animals to make this movie. That irony is in the foreground. At no point was I immersed enough to forget how uncomfortable the donkey…
