  A perfect film. Despite its artistic license with the true history, this is an incredibly emotive watch - acted fantastically throughout. Daniel Day-Lewis, often in a class of his own, is matched every step of the way by Pete Postlethwaite.

  A phenomenal cinematic experience with an excellent cast at their absolute best. Anticipated more of a direct reflection on the tragedy of civilian loss in Hiroshima and Nagasaki - but enjoyed the subtlety of Kitty’s (Emily Blunt) words representing the larger picture - “You don’t get to commit the sin and then make us feel bad for you that it had consequences”.
