As a standalone movie ignoring sequels and real life stuff it's pretty good, the effects and shots are great and the plot is really well written, but I absolutely love sharks and I feel like this movie created a lot of fearmongering against them which makes me like it less

Frankenstein 1931
I forgot to mark this when I finished watching it but it was pretty cool esp for the time. Ending scene was wild. I like that it doesn't really rely on music for dramatic effect, and the one scene where it does have music where (this barely counts as a spoiler) the guy is carrying the girl through town that part is cool. I will say though I feel like this movie takes the novel at face value, kinda glosses over a lot of the original commentary in favor of the pure science fiction aspect. Still cool tho

Wonderful, delightful film!! The ending for everyone made me really happy, very sweet! I don't know how to talk about what I really like about this without spoiling it. Juno is super funny and also has really good taste in music (Patti Smith and the Runaways!!). When it comes to the setting I have always adored this type of late 2000s stuff, it's always great. And also I have to add: great soundtrack. Fit the movie perfectly and I just really liked it. And I am going to listen to it a lot now. Thank you!
