This movie was never good, you’ve been gaslit bc the effects and camera work are amazing and people say it’s a classic.

Literally everything else ab this movie is fucking atrocious and I actually can’t watch it without getting pissed anymore- I try, once a year, to see if I was just in a hating phase when I formed this opinion, and my stance is only reinforced.

This has been my final attempt. Fuck this movie, it has nothing to…

    The Strangers: Chapter 1

I’m actually insulted by this shit, either take your career in filmmaking seriously or fucking quit and let competent people who give a shit have their turn.

Is this a joke? Like if you told me this was satire I’d believe it wholeheartedly. Every choice was wrong which is statistically unlikely, so that leads me to believe they knew and just didn’t care. Hey what the fuck man.

I was so sure I was gonna hate this movie, I went w friends cause it was something to do and I thought ‘eh whatever big dumb action movies can be fun and the last one was alright.’

I cannot believe or explain what happened but this movie went in an absolutely ludicrous direction and somehow stuck the landing in every area. I’ve never had so much fun in a movie theater; and I hurt myself…

They really made this feel more like the classic franchise entries and man did it serve the film well. An amazing send off for Daniel Craig- the most nuanced and emotionally complex iteration of Bond seen on screen. Amazing action, clever but just-cheesy-enough lines thrown in, and a very intricate plot that tied so many through lines from Casino Royale/Quantum/Skyfall/Spectre.
Incredible, incredible camera work and lighting. A+ direction.

Let’s talk about the ending. Real curious how you follow that up.
