  I remember quite liking this when I watched it as like an 11-year old, and it actually held up pretty well. Much better than 2012, which just feels like a worse spinoff. And the awkwardness despite the end of the world is so palpable and that’s funky fresh. Reminds me of my own awkward moments while the world ends due to unresolved climate change issues.
