  Beautiful film with amazing, serene shots of nature that makes you start to feel like you’re one of the locals. Their concern for the developers project and how it’ll affect their livelihood was so realistic and it makes you consider what the “evil” is in the story. Is it those who disturb the balance of nature? Anaya I’m a little confused by the ending but I’ll let it sit with me because I know there’s a profound  realization for me in there

  Yeah so this one wrecked me right in the father issues. Amazing story telling. As I grow older, the question of who my mother and father were at my age takes up more space in my mind and I love that this movie made me reflect even more.

  I thought this movie was amazing. Eggers does such an amazing job curating a sense of uncomfortable, haunting, slow-burn fear and this is no exception. There were countless beautiful shots throughout this movie that I think about hours after seeing this movie. The acting was amazing all around, the only small dislike I have is Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s character slightly felt misplaced or uninformed at times and it kind of took me out of the plot.
