I really like Jake Gyllenhaal but feel like he’s been done a bit dirty here, compared to his usual caliper of movie. Some or the worst CGI I’ve seen in a long time and goes completely downhill when McGregor is introduced.
Don’t worry Jake, I’ll forget about this one very quickly. And I don’t want to see McGregor act again anytime soon.

Ofcourse Cillian was going to be a badass, he even had a beard!
Interesting perspective on your usual gangster film. Somewhat bizzare but Tom Hardy, as usual, plays it very well. But that is about it.
No depth in any other way of characters/ plot etc. resulting in, worryingly, the only character I cared for (and almost felt sorry for) was Al Capone.
2 stars for Tom Hardy smoking fat carrots and soiling himself.
