I fucking love Sophie Thatcher! So talented and made the movie great imo. These AI robot turns into menace plots are kinda turning into white noise to me but this one stood out a little bit. Probably because of Sophie’s performance and the twist of the story and making her the protagonist instead. It’s a fun, light watch and the sfx was pretty sick

Planet Terror 2007
This movie is so unserious, i have so much fun always rewatching it. I love a good and nasty body horror movie. Some scenes are ridiculous but makes sense as a whole. The film grain and color grading is a bit too much for me sometimes and literally gave me a little head ache but i didn’t mind lol. Would i rewatch anytime soon? Probably not but i appreciate it

Death Proof 2007
Went on a rewatching movies spree and somehow this is a comfort movie for me lol. Haven’t seen since i was a teenager and forgot how insane these stunts are. You can always tell Quentin has a lot of respect for how things are done towards film making and i love seeing stuntwomen and stuntmen get their flowers. I also always love seeing men get what they deserve so this is pretty perfect to me. Besides the clearly men written dialogue for women, even though a part of me feels like that was definitely intentionally obvious, I’d rewatch over and over.

The Florida Project 2017
Second time I’ve rewatched this, first time watching it as an adult though. Such a perfect and beautifully written movie. I love Sean Baker’s intention of putting a platform for stories we all tend to brush under the rug and (subconsciously and consciously) dehumanize. So many things i could say about this movie, wish i could watch again for the first time.
