Beowulf 2007
This movie used to scare the shit out of me when I was a kid. Rewatching it now when I’m 20 it’s a great portrayal of the epic poem Beowulf, albeit with some added plot elements. The story and atmosphere are pretty well maintained with the writing and general tone being inline with a Germanic saga (except for Angelina Jolie being Grendel’s mother and wearing what amounts to stilettos)
4.5 with .5 being knocked off for jank in the animation,…
