first time watching since college when I was about 22. The first time I watched it I didn't really take note of the ick sorta casting couch stuff with the men in this. The slow burn and pressure valve release toward the end makes this work. The fever dream scene before the BIG scene is really great.

the only good big blockbuster series? complicated plot, thoughtfully photographed (that B&W scene!!), beautifully choreographed fights, and most importantly it shows a baseline level of respect for the audience - you can figure some stuff out and don't need your hand held the entire time. good shit.
