The cinematography in this movie is beautiful. I would love to see some of the shots outside a horror film context because it was largely overshadowed by the jump scares. I am in the camp that believes the demon in this series is a metaphor for anxiety and depression and the effects it has on people and their loved ones. Seeing the story through the eyes of an international pop star raises all the stakes higher than her drug dealer in his final hours.
