If we got one of these every 2 years for the next 50 years the world would be a much better place.

Endlessly funny, bursting with passion and creativity and absolutely gorgeous (seriously there are multiple sequences in this movie that are legitimately breathtaking to look at).

Farmer Jim best character, watching him flip from one beautifully drawn character model to the smoothest 60fps animation you’ve ever seen killed me.

    Suck it David Zaslav.

Definitely liked it, have to rewatch to know if I LOVED it or not.

Some stuff felt weirdly rushed and muddy in places but the broad strokes of the movie’s themes and penchant for goofy sci fi hijinks ended up working really well for me (the dinner scene in particular nails it)

And if nothing else, this confirms that Robert Pattinson is a once in a generation talent, maybe his greatest work here.

    “You haven’t changed at all.”

A cruel and hilarious little fable about the horrors of getting everything you ever wanted.

So so clever and smart, the first act is this wonderful magic trick that plays on all the preconceived notions and feelings society conditions you to have about someone like Edward before pulling the rug out from under you in the second half where you realize this is actually a more twisted and somehow even meaner version of the Frank…

Oh hey cool I have a new favourite comedy!

Unbelievable in just about every way, every time you think they’ve done all the gags they could they blindside you with the funniest thing you’ve ever seen, and that happens roughly 200,000 times in this movie.

A masterpiece, when they finally did the title drop I SCREAMED.
