Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 2007
Having watched this movie ad nauseam as a child and mostly just loving the music, going back to watch as I’m older and picking up on a lot more of the banter between characters made me appreciate how funny it actually is, while having a much darker and less comedic tone overall that from what I’m told is a different approach than the stage productions.
Still held up really well for me!
