  This is cinema. Scorsese cameo at the end is priceless and finally we have Scorsese putting his two leading actors to work together.

  The film brings a mix of emotions and nostalgia, especially when the songs from the 1971 classic with Gene Wilder appear. The film itself has its magic and an imaginative and enchanting power and was able to reinvent itself for the times in which we live. Among other topics, the film addresses the importance of continuing to dream even in the midst of a troubled reality and a cruel world. I confess that I wasn't giving Chalamet's Willy Wonka much credibility, but in the first scenes he showed himself to be a very captivating Wonka with an impeccable performance.
