  Incredible. Ive probably seen this movie like 10 times and yet everytime I re-watch it feels like there’s things I’ve completely missed on previous watches.

  An admirable adaptation; however, having recently seen and been very impressed with the stage show, I can’t help but be a bit disappointed. I found, compared to the stage, the film had lackluster humour, a more serious tone, and a much more depressing Elphaba. Despite this, Defying Gravity was still an absolute banger, the casting/acting was very good (Ariana Grande surprisingly so), and the visuals delivered.

Following
