Dead Poets Society 1989
i never appreciated this movie when i was younger. I always loved robin williams and knew how great he was but he’s even better than i thought. This movie was so special because i remember having relationships with teachers/coaches that made doing whatever you were doing enjoyable. Knowing someone has your back and believes in you is a gift. O captain! my captain!

this was my first time seeing this movie from beginning to end. I was fortunate enough to see it at an IMAX theatre and although I have been to The Sphere (humble brag), watching on a 100 ft screen in 70mm (idk what that means) was an experience I will never forget. Seeing the events leading up to the famous clips I would watch on Youtube in 1080p was a sight to behold. Learning about how Matt Damons character unfolds…

I read the wikipedia plot of the original before watching because i had no clue what this was about. I just remember getting scared from spongebob like everybody else and that’s it. First, I did not expect how horny everybody would be in this movie. Second, there were some actual good jump scares and good performances from lily rose depp (beautiful), willem dafoe and of course bill skarsgard. Probably won’t watch again but not a bad use of my two and a half hours.
