  Well, this movie hurts. It’s clear this was made by WKW. It oozes his style, and I definitely see this as a predecessor to In the Mood for Love. Some random barely coherent thoughts: 

  - Everyone yearned so hard in this movie. There are few movies that make me FEEL the yearning and desire on screen more than this movie, In the Mood for Love, and Queer. I do think Queer would be a great double feature with this movie.…
