  Welp, I fought it for 23 years, but finally I was forced to watch it. I enjoyed the viewing of it, since everyone was on the same page of laughing at it, and enjoying Britney’s great and less than great qualities. It’s not a good film, not even in the least. That’s all.

  Also...am I insane or was that Carrie Coon in the bar scene standing next to the supposed murder? Anyone else see her?

  They just don’t make em like they used to. This is such an uplifting cookie-cutter nineties movie, with a sweeping SOARING score, and so many over the top performances, and I loved every frame of it.

  Besides when in Alaska, do as the Alaskans do….run wit da dawgs.

  At Quentin Tarantino’s The New Beverly on 35mm with “her”
  If that’s not a sentence that makes me feel things, I don’t know what will. 

  So…Introducing someone you care about to a film that you stand by is always nerve-racking:
   “oh god they’re bored”
   “shit they hate it”
  “oh wow now they think I’m stupid and have no taste and will leave me for their Portuguese jiu jitsu instructor”  

  all these thoughts and more rattled around in my mind…
