I see what Depalma is doing in many of his films in that he’s trying to marry the 1940’s-1960’s Hitchcockian artistry with the cocaine-era sleazy, grimy erotic thriller.
That doesn’t necessarily make it fun to watch.

Entertaining and original. The only thing that dragged this down a peg for me is that I was using every brain cell trying to keep up with who was inside who (there’s no way to not make that sound dirty) and I had to backtrack about 3 dozen times.
