  The “Every-Man” vs. the Rich/Powerful/Famous is becoming an unbearably well-worn trope, but I thought this was coming at it from an interesting angle. But it feels like they have some interesting ideas about celebrity and critic culture and creativity, but doesn’t really go far enough with it. But, nonetheless, Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich. Malkovich, Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich, Malkovich Malkovich. Malkovich…Malkovich.

  Really torn between a 4 and a 3.5 here. I genuinely did enjoy it, but it did feel like a number of story threads were left dangling or thin. Third act didn’t quite hit as hard as the first two for me. A very enjoyable and funny film, but I think I’d rate it in the bottom half of the Bong Hits.
