  Nightcrawler was weird. It was good but I wouldnt go out of my way to recommend it to anyone. It definitely wasn't fun and it wasn't even really entertaining. But it was a good art piece with a great character portrayal of a narcissistic sociopath. Jake Gyllenhall did a great job, I felt gross after watching it.

  Symbolism runs rampant through metaphors, parallels, and irony to great effect. The production quality is astounding, especially for a 40 year old movie. The character acting is wonderful and it's easy to feel understanding and empathetic towards Flyora. The plot is easily understandable and I love how the focus was on realism instead of propaganda, but I still find the movie easily described with a single word, disappointing.
