  “Last Night in Soho” is a thriller, perhaps wannabe “horror” that doesn’t fully achieve either genre. Costume design is superb, the soundtrack is fun, and the visuals are stunning as the film weaves between present day and 1960’s. The two leading women give spectacular performances. However, none of this makes up for the subpar plot (albeit original concept) that leaves the audience confused for 90 minutes. The end of the film goes into a tailspin as it tries to recover—a twist, while amusing, does too little too late.
