The low-budget simplicity of the film is my favorite aspect of it. Great acting and writing, nothing else was needed for the movie to portray the sad reality and hardships that come with Alzheimer’s. Hopkins was great at making everything feel real and raw. But the way the movie messes with time and reality puts you right in his shoes, which makes it even more heartbreaking.

Spotlight 2015
A story that hits close to home, a star-studded cast, pretty easy to see why this one won Best Picture in 2016. The deep dive into the journalism aspect of the case throughout was super fascinating and Mark Ruffalo was goated.
Edit: changing to 5 stars, it was too peak.
