Edward Yang really just subtly showed the most human piece of art without any moment of ego or clear slip up. What else can be said about this quiet and beautiful film honestly. I think if you ever feel the slightest bit alone in the world this movie will have your back and be a shoulder to cry on. I loved it the first time but on rewatch everything is just so comforting and wonderful. Yang was gone waaaay too soon but what a swan song this was.. rip.

Good Time 2017
A painful watch but also oddly hard not to be invested in every scene. This is a dark and fun movie but fun in the way that every scene flows so smoothly but it has that signature tension and anxiety that the Safdie brothers are known for. A great movie that makes me want to watch Uncut Gems again.
