Dune: Part Two 2024
Like it even more than the first one! It takes its time to tell its story. Well written characters and dialogue, outstanding set pieces. Villeneuve is very talented when it comes to showing us a sense of scale. The cinematography is gorgeous.
Best way I could describe this is science fiction for adults. I would love to see more sci-fi movies like this.

I must admit, when I first viewed this film I was fairly happy, it turned out to be a decent movie, well, compared to the Disney Star Wars sequels anyways. (Though is that really saying much?).

The Beast 2023
A beautiful portrayal of loneliness and the pursuit of genuine connections in an often cold modern world. It’s surrealist style only helps add to the confusion our protagonists face in this grim, increasingly more realistic dystopia.
Léa Seydoux is quickly becoming one of my favourite actresses. She’s so graceful as well as vulnerable. Her chemistry with George MacKay is very touching and believable.
