What a master pièce ! A heartbreaking reality played by Nykiya Adam’s, a 12 year old girl struggling with her separated marginal parents. She is often betrayed as the only responsible adult .Beautifully filmed by Andrea Arnold who won an Oscar in 205 for her Short film “Wasp” and has received 12 other awards in honors. With “Bird” she has wonderfully blended realism with a pinch of fantasy. The outstanding performance of the actors made us believe in this modern tale.
