This is NOT a "once in a lifetime experience!" We have seen so many movies like this and probably will see so many more!!
In one of the beginning scenes, they play a YouTube video onscreen but the play time stays paused at 0:34/1:00 while the video is playing. Kind of sets the tone for how lukewarm the rest of the movie is :(
No movie can do better dual-role editing than Jim Carrey as Prof. Robotnik/Dr. Eggman in Sonic 3, but Mickey 17 comes pretty close.
I hate to say it because I love fka twigs but Robert Pattinson killed this, such a great performance. Again, doesn't beat Jim Carrey in Sonic 3, but at least Dr. Eggman never mistreated black women!

Even better on the second watch! The entire movie is written like a suspenseful jigsaw puzzle that you're afraid to solve, in case the picture it makes is something you don't want to see. Incredible and chilling performances, good editing, and engaging cinematography.
The movie's ambiguous ending made it even better. A satisfying story that still leaves you with questions.
Disgusting writing. Sickening plot. Revolting premise. Fantastic watch.
