12 Angry Men 1957
Utterly fantastic! Amazing storytelling, witty, ego, funny, serious and even emotional! And a lot to learn from the fantastic camerawork/angles. These days cameras are so much smaller so can’t imagine how much harder it would have been!

Poor Things 2023
I think Emma Stones’ performance in this was phenomenal. The whole production from script to wardrobe to cinematography was outstanding. Its nuances on female representation are so philosophical and rises a huge debate on female freedom and expression. It is beautifully bizarre. And I actually would argue that this film should have been the Bafta winner and deserves to be a ‘classic’! But I do get why it may not be people’s cup of tea to watch.
