Tried to rewatch this last night cause I remember it being so freaky as a kid but I gave up a little after you meet the bugs because they’re all annoying as fuck 😔not their fault, it’s a kids movie! But this movie is still so whimsical and I didn’t realize how many of the visuals in the beginning of the movie are really etched in my brain. Also Randy Newman did the music? What the hell

I couldn’t understand what they were saying a lot of the time but I was having a good time I was sitting there like this 🙂 the whole time. I like this straight couple though, I actually would watch a sequel of them doing more cool shit together if there were subtitles
