double feature with White at Gene Siskel EU film festival poland spotlightt!!!
i remember watching three colours: red and white on my telephone screen while traveling from poland to france (i like to be on theme). but wow how disrespectful of me to minimize the cinematography to those parameters. but in a way it was on brand maybe? im so happy i got to redeem myself today being front row and personal with these characters. this is a perfect film.…

Incredible an older woman came up to me after the film and said I resemble the main heroine.
I was like yes we have the same black wool coat
And she was like no I’m not talking about that, it's the hair, the whole vibe

Povere creature! The poor things outraged by this film must not have previous experience with Lanthimos.. as is pivotal to the Greek Weird Wave movement, many of Lanthimos' films revolve around psychosexual development.. See my review for Dogtooth:

"Lanthimos is one sex scene away from destroying my libido indefinitely"

SURPRISINGLY this movie had the opposite effect on me.

I LOVED this film because I am a Foucault head. This movie epically shows how to EVADE power. To be or not…

Damn this language crazy. Respect for all garbage collectors. Such a bleak atmosphere where you just hold your breath hoping no inconvenience will occur. No one knows what could be looming under their own cigarette smoke. Living paycheck to paycheck while doing menial and dull work doesn't really grant you the opportunity to find out. I like the friendships in this film, they were touching. The attempts at romance were endearing as well, realizing there is a chance of escaping the dreadful loneliness. I really enjoyed the soundtrack of this film. 0 stars for the mustache.
