I really wanted to like this but wow it just sorta failed in nearly every aspect. 

It did nothing well. Poorly written characters, minimal horror, ideas that go nowhere interesting, and editing that feels hasty rather than deliberately elliptical. 

Natalia Solián and her gf single handedly carry the movie. If not for them, this would’ve been completely disappointing.

I usually care about other things more than performances in movies, but good golly gosh I was brought to TEARS every 10 or 15 mins with this one. 

Domingo has so much heart in this film. He teeters between a man with an endless well of love and good will and a man who has reached his breaking point with the prison system. 

The cinematography really shined. The handheld gave that unsteady but natural feeling to the scenes. The grainy close ups put us in the face of the real actors from the RTA program. 

Stellar work.

An epic of obsession, security, megalomania, and artistry. 

What if you could have everything you wanted and more? What if it cost you everything? 

Glad I saw this in theaters but I forgot my goddamn glasses.

I am only giving it 3.5 bc it was visually kinda plain and boring. 

Everything else, superb!
