It is quite obvious in the final product that this film went through production hell.
In all parts of the film we see VFX that was given far too little time - nothing new in Marvel films either. And we see tons of short ADR lines on top of reaction shots that were obviously only thought of in post-production.

A movie that draws you into its (probably very realistic) world and really manages to catch you. Even prompting you to think at points "shit, what would I do in such a situation that is obviously not okay legally and morally?"
Deserved Oscar win. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of women listed in important production roles in the movie's credits, after only knowing beforehand that it was written and directed by a man.

Warner delivers an excellent Christmas movie.
I only have two gripes:
One big plot point is that the main character takes a childhood dream way too literal and doesnt open the heirloom properly until the climax.
We have seen that in Harry Potter already. Come on David Heyman, you were THERE. Why do that again? It's lazy.
And in the climax of the movie Rowan Atkinson's character vanishes and doesnt get a proper resolve of his arch/send-off. Hugh Grant's Oompa…

Probably the first time in years that a South Park monologue directly addresses the kids and teenagers who surely watch this show even though they are not supposed to. And with a very profound and important message too: There is always someone trying to influence you with Social Media messages and placements. Be aware of that.
