  watched to remember david lynch, he was truly an incredible filmmaker. this was still trippy as hell but much more straightforward and less confusing than mulholland drive, both of which i loved. i found myself thoroughly intrigued by dorothy vallens as a character, which isabella rossalini did an excellent job with.

  it was pretty solid. i just heard kieran culkin (who i love) won the golden globe for this movie and he delivers a really great performance in this. same with eisenburg. quite fascinating and detailed characters and dynamics portrayed here. and i like that its a shorter film that still carries such an impact. it seems these days that people think in order to make a good movie it has to be very long, and this is proof of how false that is!!
