  how on earth does joey king get to act like a pick me in every fucking movie she does?? like make it make sense.
  would have loved it in 2013, but now its too real. i mean the city basically represents everyone from LA. its filled with influencers who are filled with plastic. its a movie about not doing plastic surgery, and who tf in 2024 will agree with that??

  i related to the main character overthinking and spiralling in a negative downward spiral and making things worse for himself. it sucks to be overtly imaginative. however, the entire time it just felt like, ugh this is what the 50s must have been like. wife sucks, life sucks, infidelity rocks.
  the MC was annoying, I didn't love Monroe going along with infidelity, especially in a married man, I don't think that helped her film image at all. they made her play a ditsy blonde who'd go along with you to cheat.
