  I love silent hill and played a ton of the games as a kid, but it’s been years and dumping all the lore in the last 15 minutes in the church paired with the awful dialogue throughout the movie was painful to watch. A lot of the story and character (harry mason) changes were worse imo except the ending which was pretty cool icl. Showing lying figures and pyramid head kinda ruins a sequel with james looking for mary but at least they didn’t fuck up the soundtrack, atmosphere, and eeriness of silent hill so gold star for that?

  I wish I checked my heart rate during the basement scene because I was fucking SCARED. I was glued to the screen the whole movie and felt like I got caffeine by just watching.
