  some of these scenes hit a little bit too close to home when u have a bpd diagnosis :’) aside from that i feel like companion was a somewhat eye opening movie, but not amazingly so. need 2 let this one marinate for a bit

  felt a very heavy and lonely pit in my stomach while watching this, huge props to daniel craig ,,, my man!! besides that though, this movie sadly didn’t really do it for me. i feel like many things (title cards, some visual metaphors) were too on the nose for a movie that was trying to give off mystique vibes

  gorgeous movie!!!!! i felt way more connected to and curious about these women in the first half, though. i feel like i might have missed something, but beyond the beauty of the simplicity of life that’s truly shown in the last scene (which brought me to tears, yearning for small town life with found family is very personal to me), i don’t know what more to take from the second half. overall very glad i watched this and i’m gonna have a google about the husband x
