  God I love how Jim Cummings writes/films dialogues. He's just so good at making you empathize with his deeply flawed character. If Thunder Road wasn't enough to showcase his talent both on-screen and behind the camera, The Wolf of Snow Hollow should seal the deal.
  This movie tackles many genres at once: Horror, Drama, Comedy and Mystery and it delivers on most of them. My only reservation would be the "final reveal" appearing a bit out of the blue, seemingly…

  Dune 2021

  Not gonna rate it before watching the sequel(s), but so far it's not doing it for me...
  I'm a huge Denis Villeneuve fan and this is the first time I don't feel engaged in the storyline or the characters. Maybe Dune just isn't for me, but as a stand-alone movie this doesn't really work.
  Everything else is on point: solid performances, the cinematography is amazing and the score is (mostly) great.

  I truly hope the second part will be the masterpiece we expect from Villeneuve and justify all the expositions and extensive world-building from this one.
