Silent Night 2023
This movie reminded me that I have a Letterboxd account that I can use specifically to say that I wish I had those 2 hours back. Props for the film being almost completely wordless, but otherwise, it could not have been more of a slog.

Barbie 2023
Feminism 101, but turns out a lot of people need that. Needs some work on the intersectionality -- some key points ended up as throway comments/jokes, but still important moments. I am happy to see the critical discussions that the film has inspired.
But also it was just a lot of fun and I appreciated how unabashed it was with its satire. And was surprised by the (cathartic) tears it yanked out of me during and after.
